It is nice to be back after taking a short break while remodeling our home. Thank you Ojibwa and Michele for covering for me.
The remodeling is still ongoing as I sit here covered in specks of paint. The contractor arrives every morning about 8:00 a.m. and begins to make noise. The place is looking better each day. Three previous owners were all licensed contractors and did their own remodeling over the years. Some of it funky and overkill with nails.
It is only mid August and Fall is creeping in. I slept in the back bedroom with the walls gone and it was chilly!
For the most part we have a cool home that sits on a beautiful lake. We are very happy with the remodeling in spite of the mess and packed up clutter everywhere. It is worth it.
